Andrew Herndon

Andrew Herndon is a Travel Trainer at Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA), which provides public transportation services throughout Whatcom County, Washington. He began his professional journey in Travel Training in 2022 and has been a dedicated member of the Association of Travel Instruction since the start of his career. Through ATI, Andrew found guidance, inspiration, new ideas, and invaluable resources that helped him build a successful Travel Training program.

Now serving on the ATI Board of Directors, Andrew is committed to advancing the organization’s mission by expanding Travel Training into communities that need it most. Having witnessed the profound impact Travel Training can have on individuals, their families, and agencies, he strives to empower ATI members to make meaningful contributions within their organizations and communities.

As a fresh face in travel instruction, Andrew has quickly made an impact, including presenting nationally. He currently serves on the Conference and Media Committees, bringing energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a friendly smile to every meeting.
