We are excited that the 26th Annual Conference of the Association of Travel Instruction is heading to Kansas City this summer — and there are many ways to participate beyond attending.

Registration and Room Block is Open

We invite travel trainers, mobility specialists, O&M specialists, transit professionals, educators, and advocates from across the country to join us.

The conference will take place Tuesday, July 28 through Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Hotel Phillips, located in the Power & Light District of Kansas City, MO. This dynamic location provides an ideal setting for learning, networking, and collaboration with colleagues dedicated to accessible mobility for all.

Call for Papers - Be a Presenter

In addition to registration, ATI is also pleased to announce that the call for presentations is open. We are seeking engaging and innovative presentations that highlight best practices, successful programs, and forward-thinking approaches in travel instruction and related fields. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, elevate effective strategies, and contribute to the continued growth of the profession. The proposal deadline is April 24, 2026 and presenters will be notified by May 15, 2026.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for those interested in supporting the mission of travel instruction accessible mobility. Award and Scholarship Opportunities

We are also accepting award and scholarship nominations for the 2026 conference. ATI awards recognize individuals that demonstrate outstanding dedication to advancing travel instruction. Scholarships help support professionals and advocates who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend the conference. We encourage you to nominate colleagues, partners, and peers attending who are making a meaningful difference in the field. Self-nominations are encouraged. Submissions are due by May 30, 2026. Individuals will be contacted by June 12, 2026 except for the Jack Gorelick award as the winner is announced at the conference.
